Paniyaram is one of the breakfast dish in South Indian homes. Generally leftover idli or dosa batter is used for making this. Adding fruits and nuts to the fresh jowar flour gives a completely new taste and my family loved it very much.

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a wide bowl add the above ingredients and make a smooth batter without any lumps. If needed add a few tbsp of water.
  2. Heat a paniyaram pan and pour 1/4 tsp ghee/coconut oil in each mould and pour the batter. Cover with a lid and cook on low heat till the bottom layer is fully cooked and becomes crisp.
  3. Flip and cook the other side until done. Serve warm.
