Varieties in dosas are never ending! How about carrot and tomato in a dosa? Want to impress the kids with the bright colour? This is the best choice!  No side dish is required, as the dosa itself is spicy! Serve with curd!!

  • A pinch of Asafoetida
  • A few Curry leaves

  1. Wash and soak millet and poha separately for 3 hours. Drain.
  2. First grind the spices mentioned above. Once done, add carrot and tomato and grind to a fine paste.
  3. Add the drained millet and grind to a smooth batter.
  4. Add salt and water and make the batter to pouring consistency.
  5. Add the tempering.
  6. Rest for an hour.
  7. Make dosas like rava dosas by pouring.

    1. Hi Leena,
Thanks for your visit. You can use either Barnyard Millet or Little Millet for this recipe. Add a tsp of toor dal while soaking. That will give more rich colour and crispiness.
