This is an easy peasy no cook recipe! We are facing sever heat throughout the country. Tender coconut water is the best natural coolant. Payasam, pudding, ice cream are a few dishes prepared using this highly nutritious and tasty water. Engage your kids in preparing this delicious easy no cook recipe and let them enjoy the healthy snack.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Sorghum/Jowar/Cholam Poha
  • Little less than 1/2 Cup Tender Coconut Water
  • 1/4 Cup Country Sugar/Nattu Sarkarai
  • 1/4 Cup Country Sugar/Nattu Sarkarai
  • 1/4 Cup Country Sugar/Nattu Sarkarai
  • 1/4 Cup Chopped Mixed Dry Fruits (Walnuts, Cashews, Almonds and Raisins)
  • 1 Tbsp Roasted Coconut
  • 1/8 Tsp Cardamom Powder

Directions:

  1. Take the poha/aval in a wide bowl. Pour the tender coconut water little at a time and crush the poha. Let it soak for 15 minutes.
  2. After 15 minutes, add dry fruits, coconut and cardamom powder. Mix well. Finally add sugar and mix well.
  3. Make laddus and serve after 15 minutes. Refrigerate for a few days.

Note:

  • Other millet poha can also be used. The quantity of coconut water may change. Add accordingly.
  • Pista, dates can also be added.
