Payasam/Kheer is a common dessert made very often in all homes. Milk or coconut milk is used for payasam. I used millet milk along with coconut milk for this recipe. The kheer was rich, flavourful and tasty! Try this vegan dessert and enjoy!!

  1. Hi Vijaya Ma’am,

Such an amazing dessert. I loved it. I made it with almond milk and used 1/4 C coconut palm sugar+1/4 C Jaggery powder. The sweet is so well balanced.

    1. Hi Nithya,
Happy to know that you lived the kheer. Using palm sugar makes the dish much more healthy! Thanks so much for sharing your experience.
